My first season playing on varsity competing against
some of the best teams in the country for Rocket League was exciting and a
little disappointing. Last year when I was on the team, we had two varsity
teams but I was on the lower-level team. Now I am one of if not the best player
for Rocket League at Ohio Northern. My team and I we have high hopes for this
whole school year on what we can accomplish. This first semester I think we
have played decent but not up to our full potential of what we are capable of
right now. We lost some close series to Cincinnati, Ohio State, and Michigan.
We played the number one team in the country for Rocket League which is
Northwood. They have five pros on their team and in Rocket League there is only
three people on a team playing at once. Since we had a hard division for the Midwest,
we did not finish in a playoff spot. We finished at three wins and six losses.
While it is a little disappointing it was a learning experience. My team and I
played at least four top 30 to 40 ranked schools for Rocket League in the
country. As of right now I am top 30,000 in the world in three versus three in
Rocket League. My goal is to reach top 5,000 by next school year. And hopefully
one day become one of the top Rocket League college players and make Collegiate
Rocket League where the top 12 teams form the east and the west play one
another to see who the best in the country is.
Here are some of my best clips from in a match so far!
