Wassup. Back to school and back posting blog posts again. I had a chill summer. One of the cool things I got to do was participate in a roller hockey league with some of my friends who played for my high school’s hockey team. Before the summer I have never played any form of competitive hockey before. I went out and got some goalie gear so I could play in the league. Honestly playing roller hockey is one of the hardest things I have done dealing with sports. My friends have played in higher levels of hockey, so our team is forced to play in the top division of competition. One of the teams in our division had a guy who plays division 1 hockey and made it to the final four for his respective college. I basically got thrown into the deep end of the pool and I had to learn the hard way how to play goalie. Another factor was the weather. The roller rink in Toledo is outside. So, most days were hot and humid. While wearing about 50 pounds of goalie gear I got a workout in every time
